I have had unwanted thoughts about death and dying for the last couple of weeks. I don't want to die but the thoughts wont go away.
How do I stop these unwanted thoughts or ideas? |

u need distraction i dont know how to stop that thought....but everytime i had that thought i will talk to someone and try to be around people and talk about something else....i hope it helps

That's what I do too. Just try to find a distraction.

interrupt the thought.. transplant something else, sometimes it works, sometimes not, so, spend more time thinking good thoughts and the not so good ones will receive less attention and will gradually be replaced with positive thinking patterns.. it takes time and persistent doing

we all think of death
sooner or later it wil come will we spend our days waiting for it ? Live and have fun till it come

*hugs* Everytime you get one of those thoughts, remind yourself that they are wrong.
Make a list of why you want to live, and recite a few of them back every time. Then, go and distract. Try to be around people, and things that make you happy. Constantly try to teach yourself that these thoughts are wrong and there is much to live for ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
