My cat had to be put to sleep today. I really miss her and feel really sad

 I am so sorry. My cat is 13 years old and I do not know what I would do without him. Those nights when the pain is real bad he just sits with me and cuddles. Once again I am so very very sorry. |

i can't give you enough hugs for this. losing my cat years ago destroyed me. the only thing i think we can take solace in is that they had a happy life and that the feelings we feel are proof we're still capable of having healthy (albeit sad) feelings.

So sorry for your loss! I had to have my baby Polly put to sleep about 6 years ago, and I still miss her every day. I got her as a kitten when I was 5 years old, so she was always a part of my life for as long as I can remember really.
It's hard, but it's a fact of life that none of us will last forever. Just try to remember all the good times, and be glad you got to share in them with your fur baby. Hugs.

I am so sorry for your loss. A pet is like a beloved family member who always gives you love. I have had to have 2 elderly dogs put to sleep so I remember the grief.

It sounds like you gave her 19 years full of love and happiness. I'm sure she'd be grateful for that.

I understand, I lost my bird last summer. Luckily we have a good avian vet, and we did a mini ritual / ceremony in together in the room. She also arrange everything for us.
I try to focus on the good memories. |
