Thearpist said that she wants to see how the rest of spring goes and than end therapy... that just made the depression worse. she also wants to put us on meds but we wont because we dont like sideffects and we dont want it to disrupt school but right now the depression is getting worse. we are scared.

So sorry your depression is getting worse. I'm glad you're in therapy, it's a great step towards getting better. How long have you been in therapy? Did you tell your therapist how you feel about ending it?

Have you taken meds before? I know that the side effects can be scary, but when you find ones that work they're really, really worth it, and the sooner you start them, the better. It's best to get onto treatment as soon as possible so that you don't get any worse. It's just been my experience, but the depression disrupted my schooling a lot more than the meds ever did. Plus there are all kinds of different meds out there, so if you really don't like one kind, you have the option of switching to something else. Please try not to be scared, they really can help!

Welcome to PC. Take care of yourself.

Consider changing therapists if you are not getting the support you feel you need. Therapists grow on trees, after all.
