All I want to do is hide under my comfy blanket with my teddy bear all day long. I want to close my eyes and make everything go away, and the world to just leave me alone. Sometimes I wish I were a child again, so that clinging to my teddy bear as a source of comfort would be more age-appropriate then for me - a sad, pathetic 20 (almost 21) year old

I wish I were able to cry, but the tears don't come.... they haven't came in a while. I would think I'm devoid of emotions if it weren't for this intense pain that i feel deep within me.

Does anyone want to join me in my sad tent with my teddy bear?

Oh Jacq, I would love to share space with you. I just want to be left alone too, and no one will respect my wishes.

and support for all that feel this way.

Knock Knock...

Can I come in.

I've apparently been up to no good lately and am being disciplined for standing up against harmful people.

I promise I will be quiete in your sad tent. I will bring my Teddys too....xtra in case anyone wants one and doesn't have one.

Peace and much comfort to you! Just let time dissolve, if you can, laying aside the idea of "age appropriate." Hug your bear. Teddy lives through you, and maybe he or she can somehow serve to convey to you the care we electronic phantoms cannot, even with the best of smilies.
Thanks for this!

I'll hide with you. I'll bring my two stuffed dogs that I got because they look like my real dogs at home. You are never too old for stuffed animals, I say!!!

Are you coming down w/ a virus? I've seen it too many times were someone thought they were having a emotional or mental day, when it turns out they were getting sick-and that includes my kids. Guess the brain might
have more than one way to get you to lay your butt down and rest.
I understand your 'go hide' feeling, escpecially at the age your at (I'm 44),
but I'll tell you something-it will just get worse and worse the more you give in to it. Same way, you could 'train yourself' into something that feels great:
Take a refreshing shower and go outside for a walk instead. Life is short, and there are beautiful views and people (maybe) who would benefit from
the briefest smile from you, and even a polite 'hello'.
If you feel like you are going to fall asleep on a dime when you get back home...it's a virus working on you.
Thanks for this!

((((((jetblack))))) of course there is room for you! i'm sorry to hear that you're not coping well either

(((((best)))) I think the only case of illness I'm coming down with is a good case of exam-itis with a dose of too-much-winter and stress! I am on the look-out for getting sick though.. seems to always happen this time of year after the stress from exams is over!

(((((((teary_me))))) You just made my day! You also put that song about Teddy's bears going on a picnic in my head! "Today's the day the teddy bears have their piiiiiiiiiicnic!" Anyone else remember that? lol
