i have been a complete reck the last few months beeen going through hard times i let a few friends move in and they took advantage of me well had to kick on friend out cuz he beat his gf who i also let stay with me then i felt stuck in place not knowing what to do anymore did i make the right choice by getting involved that h/e is only the begging my friends did and still dont respect me i recently lost my apartment becuz they were suppose to pay rent wit me and they didnt so i fell behind in rent also i started drinking again i feel as i have been put in a vise and twisted around and around until all my bones broke now i am back with my parents which as most of people here who know me know they have emotionally brought me down since i was a little boy now im an adult and they still do it were do i run to were can i hide all i can do is sit and cry as my life hopeless already gets worse evryday

nothing is hopeless.

If I were sent home, I too would feel crushed. I think it is important for you to remember right now that you don't have to be home forever. Work to get out of home, you can do it.

I understand about the roommate thing. That's really messed up that he's beating up his girl, and good for you for standing up to him. He needs help, but he has to make that choice. As for you and your drinking...
You know, it makes it worse. I used drugs for years dulling my pain, and I lost a lot because of it. If you can't stop drinking, try to find a meeting. AA meetings are everywhere, and they help.
Don't beat yourself up. You can get better and get back on your feet. It sucks and I've been there; I've started a whole new life for myself and it's not always freakin' sunshine and lollipops. I'm a cynical as they come. But sometimes I have to kick my own butt too, and get up face crap. It sucks and it's not the be all end all, but being around people who've lost a lot can help you realize what you have.

well i have taken a few steps in the right path since i posted this i joined an a.o.d.a class which helps people with drugs and booze problems so i hope it helps i mean its a start
