My husband told me that my mother-in-law just told him that I don't contribute to the household because I am always not feeling good.
And she doesn't understand how someone can never feel good... how they can always feel bad. Basically, I think she thinks I am lying about never feeling good. Well I'm sorry, but between switching all the time, and having to deal with little Manda and my dissociating episodes and being depressed and having migraines... there hasn't been a time here recently that I have felt up to doing anything. Arrgh... some people just don't/well never understand people like us. ![]() |

Some people really won't understand us. But it's good that you recognize that fact, and I hope that because you do, you won't let it get you down. You can't change people's opinions but you can decide how much of an impact those opinions are going to have on you. I know you haven't been feeling well and I know that if you say you're not up to anything, it's because you're just not. No shame in that whatsoever.
