I just got out for depression. I was in there for 13 days. Even though I just left hospital a few days ago, I am still very depressed.

Don't give up hope! You've come to the right place for finding some support. You're not alone!

I, too, spent some days in the hospital and came out still feeling depressed. It took me several months after getting out to find a place where I could get all the help I needed - therapy and medication - but I did find it and am still going there, 5 years later.

hi ffgal, welcome to PC! I'm glad you posted. I'm sorry you're still feeling depressed after your time in the hospital, but it's great that you've found this place. I would not be able to cope with my depression nearly as well I do now if I had not found all the wonderful people at PC. Keep posting, and I'm sure you'll find that there are a lot of people here who are in the same boat, or who can offer you the support and advice you need while you get through this.

Welcome again.
