my kidney doctor again. This will be my 2nd visit with him. I'll get all my test results from labs drawn on Aug 15. And get all my new questions answered from all my previous lab tests and ultrasound.

Funny, I didn't know I'd feel nervous again about this, as things are relatively normal so far...if I can call a major organ disease "normal" LOL

How are all you others doing with the Chronic Kidney Disease dx?

Hope everyone feels good.

Hi Heygimm
I'm not sure if I can help but my youngest son's father is now on home dialysis and hoping to get on the kidney transplant list.

We have seen so many doctors and had dozens of tests and still learning new things. If I can help or answer some questions let me know.

((( Heygimm )))

My appt when great today. My latest lab tests show improvement in my kidney function! None of the new blood tests he ordered showed abnormal results. No anemia, my electrolytes were all good, Vit. D was good. I still have damaged kidneys, that will not recover, but there is no progression. Yeah. I am so happy. Even the doctor had a surprise. So I keep on Not taking NSAIDs, or Celebrex, keep my blood pressure in check, and keep from getting diabetes by controling my pre-diabetes and EXERCISE more and eat less. I am very grateful for this.
