So for quite a while I have had random tingling in my limbs, going on almost 2 years. My doc thought it was a pinched nerve, took an x-ray and told me that my neck is a little 'straighter' than most people. My nerve wasn't pinched so I went for an MRI. Turns out I have a couple vertebrae in my cervical spine that are narrower than they should be which one of the techs called spinal stenosis (which I have talked about here on PC). Well in the past few months I have noticed that, only in my right eye, my vision goes blurry sometimes. I take my contacts out, clean them, make sure they're not in backwards and my vision stills blurs on the one side. I'm constantly rubbing my eye to make it go away but it doesnt. And, if I'm in a dark area and I look at the TV screen or my laptop monitor, my right eye seems to be more sensitive to it and go blurry then too. Just now I can feel a tingling/burning sensation around my right shoulder blade. I'm 22 and don't really know what's going on. I'm even a little scared to ask because I know when things are only occurring on one side, especially the right side, it can mean some pretty bad things. Does this sound like something I should go to the doc for or am I being paranoid?

Good for you for going to the doctor and asking even though it was hard. Waiting is okay for awhile, to see if it goes away but then comes the time when the worry gets worse than the asking/knowing. I hope the neurologist can figure it out and that it's either simple to fix or not too "bad" to know/have.

I'm so glad you had to courage to go to the doc and follow-up on your symptoms. It is scary but not knowing can be worse, especially if left untreated. Best wishes with the neurologist and as you find more answers, it sounds like you are in good hands.

![]() Do go to the doctor, it sounds like something that does need to be looked at. It hopefully won't be anything serious either, we tend to freak out over things and they turn out to be usually more minor than not.

Well, I've had a pinched nerve for quite some time. In most cases they heal or improve on their own. If you experience a weekness or a numbness all the time its impt to follow though with your doc. You are young, but if its something that needs medical help , please get it

((salukigirl))
If the blurriness in vision is linked to brain injury, the blur occurs in the opposite eye as the rest of physical symptoms. ie; the pinched nerve in your shoulder I'd certainly say it's worth mentioning to the doctor. Preferably an eye doctor, who can do tests to determine where the trouble is & can then decide where to go from there. Best wishes to you salukigirl! ![]()
