they are able to handle normal things that adults do like drinking,parties,driving,facebook, playing computer games, doing weights at the gym,sex... driving to places like grocery stores and such because is near by your house, but cant go to long distance like disney world,the mall,dave and busters places that are far that they would need a gps to get there..

bad map reading skills, a relience in being told directions as they drive, a fear of the unknown.....there are loads of things that could cause this.
I had a carer who lived less than a mile away from me for years, every time she drove me to the LOCAL supermarket she asked me which way to go at every junction - left, straight on, straight on, straight on, right into the car park! some people are just useless with directions and nothing will ever change them! |

Not sure if there is a specific condition for it. I've been known to argue with a GPS, before. Those things, give bad directions...turn here...whilst needing to cut off drivers to get to the right turn off, I mean seriously, GPS?! Not for me.
Give me the directions ahead of time, so I can plan it out, in my head. I get what you mean ![]() |

I guess, something like Alzheimer's could cause people to not remember where to go? That is something one would see a neurologist for...
