Hello I need somewhere to vent. I hope I am using "vent" in the right way. I am 28 years old male and live in Texas. I have Schizoaffective Disorder, depression, I hear voices, cannot handle stress very well "makes my symptoms worse", and heart failure. I am on disability because of my Heath issues. I get medicare to afforded my medical bills. I fell like a drawn on the economy and everyone around me. Because of my family helping me pay my copays on my medication and taking me to all my doctors appointments. I am going though the process to get put on the heart transplant list and getting an LVAD.

It has to be really hard, feeling like everyone is doing for you without feeling like you can return favors. Yes, you are using "vent" in the right way :-) Can you think of things you might be able to do to help friends and family that help you in ways they might not otherwise have time to help themselves with? Can you help them use/learn their computers or phones, make phone calls for them to get information, wait for repair people, etc.?

How are you doing today Kai? Sounds like your family loves you very much. I'm sure they want to help you, just as you would want to help them if the tables were turned. Hang in there.
