I saw the psychologist that gave the psychological battery tests I took a few weeks ago to check for learning disabilities and/or ADHD. There was a bit of a range between things. I have a confirmed learning disability in regards to math. I am high above average for being able to convey myself, know spelling and vocabulary, and was average for other skills in regards to timed tests like forming shapes, stroop effect, etc, and a bit low on reading comprehension (which surprised me, and was a bit discouraging). She doesn’t think there’s any confirmed ADHD, but thinks there maybe some mild attention deficit. She says BPD, being impulsive and depression and anxiety do contribute to most of the test results that may have been on the lower end.
While I find the math learning disability embarrassing, I am glad to know that there is a real problem, and I am not actually just stupid, and don’t try. My psychologist suggested that if I ever have to take a math class if I go back to college, to take the lowest one I can, and get all the accommodations possible. Overall, I am very pleased that I took the tests! |

I have this. I just finished pre-calculus. It can be done. You should get a psychologist to give you a list of necessary accommodations for your disability. I got extra time on tests, isolated testing environment, and use of a calculator.
