Hi everyone.
I'm new. Just turned 27. Totally blind since birth. I have depression anxiety and PTSD. Was wondering if there were others on here that are blind?

Hi, I'm not blind but am here to listen if you ever feel like posting. Many of us have troubles with depression, feeling bad and just everyday problems. Some of us may have ideas or you may have insight for us that could be enormous help.

Hello, Kat. I'm glad you spoke up!

I'm new to this site, as well. I am also totally blind--have been, for most of my life.

I'm sorry we find ourselves here, but I'm glad to meet you. *smile* When I figure out how to contact others, I'll drop you a line, or please do the same, if you'd like. I'm happy to help, in any small way I can. Listen, if nothing else.

Well, as much as I fear this next bit will put people off, I'll say that I'm here because I've been unsuccessfully trying to deal with what seems to be depression, on my own. I'm fairly isolated in my everyday life, following a move to a new state, then a miscarriage after years of trying for a first baby, and then soon after, the loss of my precious dog. I think I could just do with a new friend, really. But trying to initiate new connections, with all of this weighing on me, seems a tall order! I don't want to burden anyone else with this stuff, I don't need to constantly talk about these things, but I need to deal with it, somehow.
