I haven't been on this forum long but I think someone suggested going to a college clinic where advanced students in psychology who are overseen by licensed therapists see patients on a sliding scale or even free sometimes.
Can anyone comment more on this? Has anybody ever done therapy this way? I would but I fortunately have been with my T a long time and she sees me on a sliding scale.

I think that this is actually a great idea becasue when there are students who are pushed into the real thing they ask alot of questions and they kinda act as a checklist for the doctor. For example, a student might ask, "Well the person could be going through psychomotoragitation and not actually experiancing OCD or other anxiety symptoms. They also are, in a way, updated as far as technology and the most recent medicine becasue they are still learning where as most doctors have been working with patients for a little while longer.
I'm not sure how any one else feels about this topic but I am interested in hearing what every one has to say. Thanks' Roman James ![]() Last edited by wanttoheal; May 24, 2009 at 12:42 AM. Reason: Changing title to new thread title :) |
