Dear Fuzzybear,

Good question. I hope someone can give you some helpful answers. I honestly don't know how to play. I lost that somewhere along the way. Also, I got programmed that "You can't play until ALL the work is done". Reality is that the work is NEVER ALL DONE - at least not for more than the time it takes for someone to use a dish or track dirt into the house...

Play is healthy and I hope you can find a way to allow yourself to play again somehow.

I wish I had a good answer to this. It' so important to play. I have a box of simple toys & coloring books and when I/we feel up to it, we pull it out and look through it. That is usually enough to coax anyone who wants to play to come out. I hope you can play.
Thanks for this!

((((((fuzzy friend))))))

sometimes we have to "teach" ourselves to play.
play can be as simple as listening to silly songs and singing along or dancing to the music.
it can be sitting under a tree and reading an easy read book that takes you into another "place".
having a tea party with your stuffies
finger painting with instant pudding (chocolate of course) made with water not milk so it doesn't sour.
swing on a swing
let your "inner child" out and she should have some ideas......
hope this helps.
Thanks for this!
