Can't figure out how to quote from inside a quote...but in your response to the Pixies, you talked about holding the seatbelt away from your body... I get that with things that touch my neck Ugh, it is the worst feeling in the world.

My meditation teacher gave me her mala beads once so I could work with them at home. I was meditating and laid back and the beads fell so that they were resting on my NECK I decided to try to sit with it, even though I was freaking out and couldn't breathe...I told myself that it was the beads, I was safe, a loving universe was watching over me....over and over and over and over again...and I was able to get through it. Now I can deal with it SOMETIMES when something touches my neck, which is good, because my boys sometimes hug me around the neck and I felt bad about always wanting to SHOVE them away (didn't ever shove but always got out of it as quickly and gently as I could).

I wonder if the person you work with for bodywork could help you with some of this??

((((((((((((((((Kiya))))))))))))))))) Always sitting with you

Thanks for this!

Hi treehouse, I just left some instructions in the Feedback & Tech Support forum for you and anyone else interested. It took me a while to figure out that stuff, and the same questions are bound to come up again sometime.
Thanks for this!

it would help if my cat would stop triggering me just before 5am. He's done this twice now. curls up against my stomach and there goes the world. Oddly, i always hoped he would curl up next to me all these years (rather than sit and stare at my face, 6 inches from my face) and now that my body is "waking up" and being really triggery, NOW he wants to curl in and be all sweet. it just throws off my whole day from that point on. anyway, thanks all
Can you let kitty sleep somewhere else? I have two cats, and there have been times when I've had them sleep in another room because I couldn't have them waking me up when I was having such a hard time sleeping, anyway. It's nice to have them sleep beside me, but it was also nice to wake up, open the door, and there they were, happy to see a well-rested me!
Thanks for this!

yeah - maybe some day *crosses fingers*... she can even tell when my brain says no -silently- to something even when like my back is saying 'right there! i'm in soooo much pain!' She said "I'm not going to do anything your mind is not ok with"
thanks for sitting with me! knowing that always helps, and i can never seem to know it "too much". =)

Heheh that is sooooooooooooo true =) I got sleep last night! he didn't wake me and i thanked him profusely!!!! Perhaps he has just simply learned that if he wakes me at 5, it will make me oversleep my alarm and he won't get his breakfast until 10:30!!! LOL he is a smart one, i wouldn't be surprised.
Thing of it is, if i close a door (literally ANY door other than the front door) he will sit there and hit/swipe at it allllllllllllllllllllllll night long. *sigh, cats*.
gotta love em.

Yeah. I think that's where having two cats is a plus. My cats might bat at the door for a while, but then they find something else to do. When I had just one cat (fourteen years, best friend, still miss him), he probably would have done the same thing.
Thanks for this!
