Does your alters react different when their is a nightmare, in my case when I have a nightmare and alter came out crying 'cause of it, in special the littler alters , they tend to pass from nightmare to terrified nightmare is it possible that my alter suffer the nightmare before I noticed and special the little one continue terrified during the day.? Can provoke a panic attack to the host 'cause of them.

Please let me know what you think,,even in a short answer
.

Sometimes one alter will cry when we are dreaming about something. I usually don't even know why the alter is crying or upset. Things that to me are just dreams are nightmares to an alter.

Yes, nightmares, are viewed differently by each alter.
first one or more is having the nightmare.
second the other may be veiwing the dream in the beging of blending.
third there will be some that think the dream is trivel because thier exsperance were so much worst.
Each alter will react to the nightmare accourding to thier stage of healing and growth.
But if the nightmare is triggering to the alter that is having the pyscal time out then yes it could very well cause a panic attack while the alter is processing the memoir.

Genn, we just had a reaaaalllly scary nightmare again this week...it is not fun...it was more for adults in our system this time...

or was it something else...dreams we thought were to try to tell us what the mind could not handle in real life...maybe - maybe not.

Thank you Genn for asking for information on this matter. It is helpful to know for us too.
