When I read about all the efforts of people here on this Forum, I am truly inspired to keep persevering.

Thank you all for the steps you are taking to work with the least of those within yourselves. My biases within myself require that I read and listen to what you are all going through and learn how to help myself and reach out to my therapist and ask for her to help me work on this certain issue.

In the meantime I read it is not important that I am perfect but only that I keep going forward. It is important that I love the least within myself and find why they needed to be there for those times. I need to continue to pray and work for consistency and continuity within and get along.

You show me how to keep going, not give up and feel not so alone.

This week there has been a really strong introspection and getting back on the narrow path. Seeing more clearly with no begrudging myself or anyone who cares for me or cares to help me. Sometimes it is not all explainable with words because internally each one is a mystery. All within are not cut and dried. There is an intertwinging and a yet there is progress!

Thanks to each of you and thank you for letting me not feel better than anyone but lets me see my blacksheep within myself and then be able to feel empathy for others that feel the same way.

It's transforming and yet maintaining to be able to 'see' all of this.

Hunny

Thank you for this and for reminding us that together we can walk this path and that we are not alone. Sometimes it feels as though the world is so big that we cannot breath and that sometimes we will suffocate in all it's bigness. Knowing that others have been where we are or are where we are gives a strength to walk forward. It really hurts to see that so many have and are walking this road, for we wish no one knew the pain of abuse and hurt.

Walking with those and reading the words of others makes this road not feel so empty at times when it feels we are all alone. It makes us feel not so crazy in all this crazyness, and it gives us a little glimpse of hope in getting to the other side. When we read the words of others and of the struggles they are having it validates what we feel that so many times we cannot even put words to. It gives us a feeling that somehow we belong somewhere for so many times we feel we do not belong anywhere.

When one reveals something that has for so long held deep within themselves the secrets and hurts, it shows their strength and their determination to one, look deep into that part of themselves and accept and that shows us it is possible, and two, it shows that it is possible for us to do the same, and that gives us courage to walk on. To be able to share that part of one's self shows us the courage that so many here have and it gives validation to each one.

This road is not easy and each time someone reaches out it gives us permission also to reach out. Our heart is touched by you and all that walk this healing path. Knowing that whatever we face we are not alone. That we can share and open up without ridicule and with an acceptance that many do not receive anywhere else. It gives validation to those that have never had validation to those within myself that sometimes maybe I cannot yet give that validation to.

Looking into ones self and listening is not easy and it takes strength. We get that strength from those here that are willing to look into themselves and in that it builds a little more strength within ourselves to look beyond that which seems so dark. Knowing that this is an up and down hill battle that at times stills for the moment but rages on inside and yet there is always someone to hear and understand, gives us courage to walk on too.

The fact that we can be who we are and no one expects perfection and that that feeling lying within us is just another lie to hold us gives us the ability to forgive ourselves and to see what others are feeling and to connect too. So thank you for your walk and your words that many times have given us strength to walk forward and keep reaching.

We thank you for this post and for what you said. It spoke truth for us also. And for allowing us to recognize those also. You are an amazing person hunny and a great freind. Thank you for being part of our life and walk. Sending gentle hugs and loving thoughts. Always.

((((((( Hunny ))))))) That is why we are all here - to help one another. Sometimes it is hard and totally stinks to have DID. But those of us with DID understand each other in ways other people may never ever get. It is just a different world for us.

Keep on fighting for yourself and never ever give up.
Thanks for this!
