Just thinking...

Somebody once said to me that life was sometimes like a long race with hurdles.

You start the race running well but when you get to the first jump you catch your foot on the bar. Not enough to fall but enough to throw your stride off just a bit.

You are just getting your stride back when the second hurdle comes. You catch your foot a bit more but still you do not fall. You are strong enough to stay on your feet and move forward, even if it is hard and clumsy.

You are just thinking you are going to get back in the race when the next jump comes which throws you off even more. Still you go on even though it now causes you pain to do it.

Eventually, if there are enough hurdles, you will fall on your face.

The question is...what do I do now??

Lay there in the dirt like a hurt child.....???

I don't think so...I've never liked the taste of dirt.

You have always been there for us. Helping to pick us out of the dirt.

Thank you. A long race.

Yes Kathyanita exactly. *hugs* if wanted.

So often just glad to be in the race with no concern to the opinions of others. Limping and at times crawling but always moving forward.

Thank you for your wonderfull in-put.
