I'm sorry Glidergal

I've been dealing with depression for a long time too. In that time I have been on many meds. Some worked for a while then stopped. Some worked for a while then I developed bad reactions. At the moment my GP has me on an combination which works OK. The problem for me has been made clearer by the analogy of a battery. My battery (brain) doesn't produce enough of the right chemicals, so the meds help me there. Trouble is, sometimes too much is demanded of the battery by various issues. Then even the added chemicals can't help. I guess what I am saying is meds are not all there is. Perhaps there are other keys too?
Hope this message is not out of line. If it is, please ignore it (or mods, delete it.)

I think I posted here because my primary diagnosis is DID.

I think you are fine to post here. I think Ozzie was just letting you know all of the resources available to you. I always post here because it is safe, even if the topic is not completely about dissociative stuff.

I'm so sorry you are having such a difficult time right now. I hope it will get better very soon for you.

Yes I agree no problem with posting here. I think too that Ozzie was offering resources. Was probably unaware of primary diagnosis.

Welcome.
