Has anyone had a name change adn not really sure why? Let me explain why I am asking.
I was called Jeannie when I was very young. That is the name I chose, it was my middle name. It was after my grandfather, who I adored. When I started school, that is what I was called. I learned to write that in school and it was the only name I used.
At some point when I was very young, my name switched to my first name. I cannot remember when or why or how old I was. But Jeannie disappeared. Jeannie was happy adn fun loveing adn sweet adn careing and sharing adn innocent. She loved to lern and help and climb trees and play in the dirt. She was friends with everyone.
My last memory of her was in 1st grade. I ahve not seen her since. Everythign changed. I have been called by my 1st name ever since adn not sure who started or why.
But Ruby is strong, she gets things done, take charge, maternal, careing, protective, honest, hard working, the "front-man", if you will. She makes everyhting look perfect adn normal. She is an actress adn an artist adn a poet.
Any input would be great...I am puzzled by the name change. It was a name I loved, but it is awkward to use and foriegn to me.

I think this is simply what happens when you grow up; time changes people.

Yes, I was born and called by my first and middle name until I was about 12 and then I changed to my initials. Now I go by my first name only. Yes, each name has different abilities and strengths. you are not alone.
