Yes kathy. It feels sometimes like I am hypnotized and heavy with the weight of it all. It has happened after T sessions driving home. It is scary.

yes, kathy. i can actually feel it "shutting down" like when i feel myself falling asleep when i don't want to (i.e. church).

i only do that under EXTREME circumstance, though. mostly i feel very "floaty" or "melding into things with pattern (i.e. carpet in t's office).

be safe,

kd

I have had this for as long as I can remember. As I have become more healthy it occurs less frequently. Playing possum, shutting down, not being there, leaving.Petunia, I used to have the sleeping prob after T, no longer. This T sees it starting and can mostly help me come back. I also have had times of total paralysis. I hate that more. Scarey.

I get tired and heavy. Sometimes my speech slurs and I have passed out of consciousness. I also find i go into trances (my therapist calls this getting stuck) where i cant move, my eyes are stuck open and its like im just not there.

I have aslo been speaking and then half way through a sentence feel like if I dont lie down like a lump of metal i will fall down.

Its frightening.

I feel a bit easier knowing others experience the same sort of thing. What about you Kathyanita?
