Does anyone else go through times when they just don't feel anything and are not just emotionless but numb? completely and totally numb.

As if if you could turn around and see yourself sitting somewhere else in the room? Maybe across the the room or looking in a window at you watching what you are doing?

I feel this a lot. I haven't mentioned it to the doctor yet, I guess I will eventually. I experienced it yesterday and today and as usual after it I am having insomnia; everyone here suffers that awful problem.

I know the people who read this will most likely not respond to it, but that doesn't matter; if it's read someone might recognise that they feel the same way and mention it to their doctor or therapist. That's the important thing,

Thanks if you read this far,

Rhiannon

I feel like that often I cant react to anything going on around me. Sometimes I am grateful for the feeling as deep inside me its like it dampened down the awful feelings of the depression. Right now I am walking around and if it wasnt for that feeling I would be crying all the time. I came from work today and just laid down on my bed feeling numb just staring into space. I wish I had not wrote this now because I have to leave out to do my p/m shift and I want to cry I need to hold it in as I am working with people and none of them feel comfortable around me since I said I suffer from depression.

yes I feel that way all the time, but I try to stay numb. I don't see a T any more because of financial problems. My medical doctor has me on meds. for depression. But I do know where you are coming from. Please tell your T soon. if ok.

Thanks to you everyone. Rhiannon will not be here for a while so I, Morgana will give messages in her stead.

Rhiannon is inside and will be staying there until she has rested and can cope with coming outside again. There have been several situations which have given her much grief and she needs rest.

I am of certain mind that she would thank you for responding to her pain, which I do believe what this message was about. I offer my regrets to anyone who has been upset by her message and I hope you feel stronger and supported

Morgana

Not feeling anything or feeling numb is often a symptom of depression.

im bridie ill give your well wishes to rhiannon she will really appreciate them she is sitting up in bed now and not on the cold floor any more so we are feeling more confident about her recovery and happier about the way she looks though she is not talking yet we think that is a priorrity and the sooner she begins talking the sooner she will begin to tell us what happened to cause her to crumble so we can guard against it

Bridie

I feel this way directly after my heart gets broken. Hopefully, I shall not feel this way again!
