Hi my name is Trae and yes I am a kid but I run the body for adults cause kids can do things that grown ups don't know like I can handle pain.
This may be long but it's important and I need to be heard and I need someone to tell if it's ok. I am 7 but well let's say I'm 6 then.

I think a little kid starts out with a whole big self that's really OK and can really be. That can be themselves. They laugh when junk's funny, and just need to run or holler sometimes they feel to much inside. and they get quiet, and watch, and listen wide and deep, really deep too, cuz there's lots to learn in the world
and it's new.
Maybe it's a huge gigantic thing that hurts 'em.
That sets 'em big and hurts 'em bad. Or maybe it's smaller slower junk,,
like a mommy who's always too busy to see the picture that they drawed, or a brother who calls 'em stupid all the time.
But it works the same.
Look, if there's no one there to 'splain it to 'em, to make sure they
understand wrongs happened, and that that wasn't OK,
part of the bigness.
that's the real self gets smaller.
Even though they're in small bodies, I think little kids are way bigger
than grownups. The bigness is the freedom. The freedom inside. That's the self.
But you know what? It not too late when you're a grownup, to go back and look at junk that hurted. .
And find out the truth....
Oh, it takes some hard work, and yes! ...it hurts!...But I'd rather hurt working to get alive, than to spend a whole, long life stuck, and sore.
And hurting anyway...And miss the whole thing!
And not getta even enjoy it...
You weren't bad! You/we/us felt bad. Now we can
'spress those feelings, and get them out. Then you can catch up to
yourselves, and get your true whole living bigness. back
And got your own real living freedom back...

I know I said "you" a lot but I was talking to the grownups.. I just don't know how to write.

HI Trae nice to meet you - yes it makes perfect sense - life is big and children are big and then pain comes an it all get small and scared and stops growing - the body grows up but the child inside stays there -

yes adulkts need to be more like kids and live and enjoy and laugh and smell flowers and dance in the rain like kids do cos its all so wonderful ....

they say if you dont decide what to do with your life one day you wake up adn see youve already done it.....

you make sense

hard work and going through the pai and growing cna heal the wounds - scars remain but they can fade in time to thin lines that just remind us of what was ....

for saying I make sense cause I wonder sometimes. Like when I say things the big people in the body, they tell me they get confused by things I ask. It's cool to have a place where kids can come out and be hearded like the big people can, ya know?

hey trae. its good to like meet you and i totally know like what your talkin about. sometimes the adults here like dont get it and when i like try to help them out sometimes they like ignore me just cause im not a adult. that dont mean i dont know things. like we got youngers (littles) that are like way smarter then the adults and thankfully most of the time they listen to them cause are counselor tell them that the youngers are very smart and have lots of wisdum. its like real cool to know your in there. im in here in the hotel and stuck but ya know sometimes its ok cause like i know i cant change it. peace out. chalater. -mason
