finding safety in public

We were asked how do we know who do we really trust after all the abuse that we have endured. Those inside asked after all this time that I /we came to you asking for safety you are just figuring that one out?

The answer is simple we trust those that stepped up and when we are afraid made those that scared us leave us alone. Now how simple is that?

The ones we are scared of are those that knowing told others how to make us disassociate to hurt us knowing that we could do nothing to protect our body.
~
Now that we are in the apartment and not spending to much time with general public we are starting to feel safer and are able to feel the transition starting to take place even though we have yet to get to the point to stop it. It is a start though.
~
We are starting to have more of these situations which is cool because it is telling those within that outsiders are starting to hear us instead of the black gossip started by those that have hurt us and shifted the blame unto us.

This happened on Monday and it gave us hope that we can be safe maybe not with a lot of people but with a few. One person asked why we are safe with him. We told him that he protects the body so that we can focus on those within to calm the chaos that was triggered by the person that we felt threaten by.
~
What caused this to happen is that we went to a person to talk about our options on meeting the requirement of meeting a T once a month and still feel safe doing it. We had made an arrangement though a third person to have a person there. When it came time the person was not there and we had no choice but to see the T by our selfs or have a non-compliance on our record so we meet with the T but was sick when we got home….. As we approached this person and talked to him another came up this person came onto us loud in an alpha manner to get us to stop talking about it. With the person that we consider a safe person which was confirmed by this. For we did disassociate in response to the dark person action but with the true safe person when we came back to the present the dark one was leaving us. It took a minute to fully realize what happened. Our true safe person gave us the space to become grounded again and made this person leave. Now how cool is that!

This person gave us one more person that we can count on to protect the body so that we can work on those within to keep the body safe. We told him that after that we are not going to give up on a service dog. We now know that if giving a space to regroup then those that have used our DID against us are screwed. All we truly need is a buffer to keep them physically away from us until we can get grounded again.

Anderson my dear friend this is so important what you have shared here. The huge steps forward are obvious and are very uplifting to read, I wonder if it is known just how powerful this is for you all? How important it is to be able to speak of the control that is now beginning to step up from within because of the ability you are gaining from those on the outside whom are helping you to feel safe too

This is the most important thing I have read here for some time and I know its meaning to you, that is the centre of this whole situation, that you are gaining the feeling of safety and strength and it is very proud of you that we are

Those here give us so much hope when the irl world is kicking our but. We are having a down day but just coming here to read givies us hope. as usally those within are glad we have the apartment but we get sad when the ones in the real world can only spend so little time with us. we went to chat and felt so happy because we could talk with others here. we have so few of those times but when we do it gives us so much hope thank you all.
Just one thing can we skip the next six months and just go strate to the good life?
