Well hello there!
My name is not Mom but that's what everybody calls me. Anyway, I'm the "violent" one. The one they are trying to banish into the nether regions of this world. Obviously it's not working... Needless to say, I'm not going to hurt Tara, not tonight anyway. Cant really explain why not. Well I could, but I'm not going to. Just want her and anybody helping her to know that she has NO control over me! Mom |

This can be done. I did it when my kids were young in order to make sure they were properly taken care of no matter who was out. You can make rules. Usually the stronger part will make and enforce the rules.
It’s scary when a part threatens and can actually hurt you. There definitely needs to be some rules there. |

Hiya All!
In trying to make rules with Mom (her name is actually Suzanna). She just laughs in my face. Can somebody please help? I do have other rules that they all abide by, like no talking out loud. This one seems more difficult. Help! Love and Hugs, Tara |

I used to and can still hear laughing occasionally but I think they know who the boss is now.
Don’t take it too personally when there is laughing. Be firm and consistent - they need to know that you mean what you say. Resorting to a bit of bribery wouldn’t go amiss either. Try to discover what they like and enjoy and if possible get it for them but only if they have behaved. I’m doing good just now and feeling strong. If you don’t feel up to trying these suggestions then don’t worry just wait until you feel stronger. |
