It is a huhge relief to know that thier are others who have been living with this, and functioning very well, its a true inspiration for me, as a goal of mine, would be to be as whole as I can, and to hurt as few as possible along the road. I do thank you all for reading these two posts, and I am sorry to have made them so long, I look forward to getting to know some of you and together maybe we can help eachother through all of this. Thanks so much again, for this site, what a load of bricks that have come done from me knowing Im no longer the misfitamongstmisfits!! Thanks all for your time !!

Sincerly-Jodi A girl from the states

P.S. Just curious, if their are support groups out their, could someone let me know, I live in Worcester County, Massachusetts, thanks!!

Hi Jodi..
welcome aboard

To find support groups on a specific disorder like Dissociative Identity Disorder contact your area's county mental health agency, psychiatrists, psychologists, and other therapy type agencies and area rape crisis and domestic violence agencies. They will be able to point you in the right direction for therapists that run mental health disorder type support and therapy type groups.

You will find my experience with DID and therapy for it in my blog here on this website. To get there click on "Blogs" at the top of the screen. That will get you to the blogs homepage. click on "users" or the words "get your own" then click on the word "memyselfandI" which is the name of my blog.
Take care in reading it though some of it has a bit of graphics.

I so know what you mean, Jodi. I needed so badly to know that there were others like me who could understand about what I spoke of. It was a dream come true to find that.

I felt so alone and isolated when I realized that not only did most people not act/think like i do, but that very few did.

We're here. We understand.
