Thank you all. I so appreciate your kindness. It all seems really tough at the moment, and as soon as I get on top of one thing, something else comes up and whacks me. Or that's how it feels anyway. Sometimes I just need to let off steam and know that I am heard. Again, thank you all.

Thank you Silver.

I'm having a better day at the moment (5pm) and am hoping to hold it together through the evening. Evenings are the hardest time for me. I'm battling through some of the school reports I have to write this holiday so that I can feel a sense of achievement - I hope!

Caroline, nights are tough. I think it's because we are more susceptible because we are tired. We also have less distractions so we have a tendency to ruminate - at least that's what happens to me. When things get tough, I try to make myself a list of things to do, nothing big, just little stuff to keep me focused.
I'm glad to hear you're feeling better.
Anne

Thank you, iamanne

Yes, I agree I am more susceptible in the evenings due to tiredness. I try to keep busy but it is hard to get really involved in things because I am so tired. Lists are a good idea - they tend to work well for me. I'll try that. I actually did better last night - partly because there wasn't other "stuff" going on to cause me to get upset, and partly because a bit of time has elapsed since i did the questionnaire and things are settling a bit.
Thanks for the encouragement.
