a moment when I understand something so clearly. It is like suddenly a bulb comes on and the "reason" or the "answer" or a "purpose" is so clear. Then it is like a fuse is blown and darkness sets in again.

I can remember that I had a moment of "clarity" but many times can not even remember what I was thinking about at the time much less what was so clear.

It's so frustrating.

Anybody else do this?

There are people who make a pretense to help...but soon appear to have their own agenda...then end up hurting more than helping.

Seems they take your hand just to get a better angle at your back.

Judge others to distract from their own worst fears.

If it is not as they say or experience then it is wrong or a lie.

There are many things in this world that we do not understand that do not fit nicely in a little neatly wrapped box.

These thoughts are not directed at you or anybody. They are just running through non stop.

Thank you.

I know what you mean about thoughts, about fleeting ones and about other people. It's tough to find a way sometimes. I have thoughts running on all the time and sometimes it wears me out. As to the fleeting ones, I try to journal now so that I don't lose them. I'm doing that with some of my posts here too - pasting them into my journal so I can keep track.
Be gentle with yourself.

i soooo know what you are talking about and in my blog -- well i dont remember the name of it ... i think i even used the term "in a moment of fleeting clarity"

i usually, like now even, have no idea what the clarity was about --- but i clearly remember the whole experience of clarity ---lol -- if that makes sense

Oh, I know what you mean about the fleeting clarity. Can you possibly keep a journal and write them down when you have them?

Many people, but not all, do have their own agendas. It's the ones who don't whom I cherish. They are "real".

Hugs,

Jan

Oh my goodness, yes.

For the longest time I thought my brain just couldnt hold any more when i was younger, much like homer from the simpsons if you have ever watched it.

Sometimes, something will strike me as what I call a "Eureka!" thought, and I will suddenly have a theory on it, but shortly after it dissapears. And then I can never explain it to someone else.

Its very frustrating.
