wow, i never thought we would do what we did. We went to the city where we was kidnapped over 30 something years ago, and went to the police station. See when we were small, we never told who it was or what happened. All these years the fact that we never told the police always bugged us, and we decided to tell. the heart was pounding and the feet headed away from the police station a few times but we made it in there. We told the police woman who was at the desk why we were there and what really did happen all those years ago. It felt like we had been freed from a huge heavy weight, we left the station and shed a few tears on the way home. I'm glad they know the truth, and they told me that the man we identified was their main suspect but they couldnt do nothin back then cos the little girl the questioned would not say a thing. So its done. The feelings went from scared, to relief, to tearful, to happy, to proud and now i guess a mixture of all of them. But am still glad we told.

Thanks for your kind words and support kd, bipolar_bear and hillbunnyb.

Thanks Sky and Rainbowzz.

Its been a couple of weeks now and I am still not used to this strange feeling since telling. One thing I do know is that somehow it has changed how I have felt about who I am in relation to my past, its almost like a feeling of my past has changed. Sounds weird cos what we did was done now, as in the present, but it sure feel different.

Anyway *smile* enuff of the rambler

I think you said that just right, jabe! Even we who are singletons can view an event in the past differently once we emerge on the other side of a present day situation! (((safe hugs)))
