a *****y alter of mine, Trixie, has been out a lot lately to deal with stuff i can't. but she is a totally TOXIC ***** who comes to protect the littles but hates me. she causes hell and then i got to pick up the pieces of her mess. what's with that if she's supposed to help?

*grin*. we have one also. Just wrote about her in another of your posts. takes time (years in our case) but she is starting to come around to being an actual protector MORE than an abuser to us. She's starting to do some really good work and I am very proud of her today - she was very courageous. These alters hold a lot - pain, grief, sorrow, anger, trauma.... sometimes we have to look beyond the behaviors and see just how much they really do carry for us.
