thats pretty much what DID is here in America....having two or more alters that do and think differently than the aware self, that takes over control many times, as a result leaves the person with having memory problems (you call them black outs) beyond the normal forgetfulness.

here's where you can read more about what in general american mental health treatment providers feel dissociative disorders including DID is....

Sorry im unsure about this, my sister has blacked out a couple of times during work, she is under an incredible amount of mental stress and suffers badly with depression, she has not done anything whilst passed out so i dont know if it is the same as you, i thought this was due to mental and physical exhaustion and she is also extreemly anemic so i think maybe these factors have something to do with her blackouts.
If its happening frequently i think you should visit your gp and get to the bottom of this.
I hope this has been even a little helpful to you.
Let me know how it goes.
Take care

hi angel, not sure if you are saying you've been diagnosed with DID and wonder if that's a normal aspect or if you are blacking out and wondering if that means it's a possibility?

I have "blacked out" for other reasons then DID also.. anemia, stress, MS, medication problems, lack of sleep, lack of food...

theres lots of reasons why a person would black out or not remember things. I have been keeping up with your other posts and the stress that you seem to be under can very well cause you to have anormal black out and normal memory problems.

my suggestion we cant help you end the abuse, stress, pain and heartache you are under. Since you are an adult only you can do what needs to be done to get your self to safety. heres the hotline number in austrailia for domestic violence (abuse of an adult by a relative, spouse or intimate partner)

Australia wide

National Sexual Assault, Family & Domestic Violence Counselling Line
24 hours: 1800 RESPECT or 1800 737 732

its encouraged for members to not use their real names and locations so I thought on the chance you may be somewhere here in america I would post the american domestic violence number too..

1-800- 799 - 7233

both american and Australian hotlines can help anyone any aged get free from abuse, their services also include therapy.
Thanks for this!
