Depends on what you are looking for. There a medications that can lessen anxiety, but these may send you to sleep or increase your sense of non reality.

There are grounding techniques but they don't come in the form of medication.

Hi.

Do you know if the feeling is caused by depression? For example, sometimes if I'm in a mall or other such crowd, I feel like I'm watching a movie but the actors can't see me. If it is secondary to depression, then I would think that once the depression was under the control, the feelings would pass. Let me ask you a few questions to make what you are feeling more clear so that if its not due to depression, others with a similar problem can answer you.

Are you currently on any medication? The side effects of some medications can cause this. So can abruptly stopping some medications.

Is this feeling there all the time or is it intermitant?

Are you aware of what is real and what is not, or do you feel like you are having hallucinations?

I'm sorry I couldn't be more help.

Thanks for this!

I read dissociation is pretty hard to treat with meds. To answer your questions: 1)Yes the feeling is ALMOST always there.
2)No hallucinations but like you said feeling like an actor in movie! meds im on help a little.

I don't know of any medication that improves that symptom--but addressing the root cause, the depression or anxiety, can reduce the dissociation. And make it easier to roll with.
