Every so often (about 3 times in the last year), I'll have a strange experience, I'll be in the bathroom or my bedroom getting ready for work in the morning -- and I'll suddenly feel like I am remembering something that happened in the past. It's sort of a deja vu feeling. In my mind, I see a picture that represents the event, but it is like I am only able to see that there is a picture, but not what is in the picture. Then my heart starts pounding, and I feel dizzy. I feel very afraid, but don't know why! And it almost feels like the world is tilting, and I feel a bit like I am going crazy. There's a lot of anxiety with it, which makes me feel like I need to go to the bathroom. I usually sit down on the bed and just try to deep breathe and get myself through it until I feel like myself again. The whole thing from start to finish only lasts maybe 2-3 minutes. But it's so unsettling!

Has anybody has something like this happen to them? Does anybody know what this is?

In me this kind of thing can be any number of things. for example...

hallucinations, delusional thoughts, sleep deprivation, psychosis, medication problems, symptom of my having multiple sclerosis, not getting enough fluids or nutrients, depression, bipolar symptom, anxiety disorder, flashbacks, PTSD symptoms....

we cant tell you what this is with in you though, only your own treatment providers can do that...

my suggestion if this continues to bother you contact your treatment providers. they can help you figure out what this is with in you.

I get that a lot but idk what it is. caffeine is like a trigger for me. Do you drink coffee in your routine? maybe drink decaf and see if it helps.
