Dont know if others can relate or not, but do you get Alters who start to hum or sing? This morning trying to work, what I do is very focused, analytical work..involves disease processes and requires my utmost attention to figure things out..so I am totally engrossed and focused..but...out of nowhere comes an Alter singing;

He's a real nowhere Man,
Sitting in his Nowhere Land,
Making all his nowhere plans
for nobody.

Doesn't have a point of view,
Knows not where he's going to,
Isn't he a bit like you and me?
Nowhere Man, please listen,
You don't know what you're missing,
Nowhere Man, the world is at your command.

He's as blind as he can be,
Just sees what he wants to see,
Nowhere Man can you see me at all?
Nowhere Man, don't worry,
Take your time, don't hurry,
Leave it all till somebody else
lends you a hand.

Doesn't have a point of view,
Knows not where he's going to,
Isn't he a bit like you and me?

Nowhere Man, please listen,
You don't know what you're missing,
Nowhere Man, the world is at your command.

He's a real Nowhere Man,
Sitting in his Nowhere Land,
Making all his nowhere plans
for nobody.
Making all his nowhere plans
for nobody.
Making all his nowhere plans
for nobody.

It's very uncomfortable and I loose my focus, and it unsettles me..... Tunes in my head...frustrating..thanx for listening..friends..some days just.. Tunes in my head

I understand, for I have been there before..... all is going well for me and then out of no where I hear some thing from within or I get an unsettling feeling that disrupts my present life. The best advice I can give is to STOP and give whomever it is the TIME they need at the moment, five minutes will do wonders to ease their disruption from inside.... they too need to be validated.

OH GOSH, YES!

There are several 70's songs, but there was one in particular that a child part would sing and didn't know one word in the two lines that would be sung. I found the song not long ago and put the word in for this part of me. It was a wild experience.

It was a song not well known and I happened to stumble across it...The two lines sung were, "I am the "blank" DJ from WOLD (echo)". Well, I heard the song and now can put the word in and those two lines are now complete..."I am the morning DJ from WOLD". T smiled, but also thought is astounding. Also, he's a huge Harry Chapin fan, so he could've told me the words in a heartbeat had I mentioned it before. Tunes in my head

This is a good memory for me, but can be very distracting...especially when it's songs that I can't stand. Tunes in my head

I certainly understand how frustrating it is. It usually passed relatively quickly for me, but could last all day as well.

Love and Peace,

KD

Thank you Rhapsody and Kimmy…I do get the same urge once I start to hear them singing and I don’t know know all the words, I will go search them out so at least, maybe I can start to get into sink with what I am hearing…my gosh..it is amazing..but scarey..frustrating when I am trying to work everything..from London Bridges Falling Down to Lullabyes....I heard this one a couple of weeks ago…had no clue until I googled it what the heck she was singing:

I'm bringin' home a baby bumblebee.
Won't my mama be so proud of me?
I'm bringin' home a baby bumblebee -
Ouch! It stung me!
I'm mashin' up a baby bumblebee.
Won't my mama be so proud of me?
I'm mashin' up a baby bumblebee -
Yuck! It's all messy!
I'm lickin' up a baby bumblebee.
Won't my mama be so proud of me?
I'm mashin' up a baby bumblebee -
Ugh! I don't feel so good!
I'm throwin' up a baby bumblebee.
Won't my mama be so proud of me?
I'm throwin' up a baby bumblebee -
Wow! I made a huge mess!
I'm moppin' up a baby bumblebee.
Won't my mama be so proud of me?
I'm moppin' up a baby bumblebee...

I guess it is also hooking into the time these parts are stuck in, so it helps me to identify some things..and it is better than the screaming I get..and other stuff..ya know..but thank you..now dont feel so yuck..it helped..

Oh boy so I ever. Just recently it took me about a week to locate information about the song (title, where I learned or heard it and so on) that went with the one sentence going over and over in my head "who's behind that false face, no body knows but me"

I got my answer about where I heard the song finally through talking to someone that I used to go to school with that told me that song came from 1968 and is a school learned Holloweeen song that hasn't been taught in my school since that music instructor left the school.

I use situations like this to learn more about myself for example in order for this song to be repeating in my head at some point after I learned that song I must have been mentally singing it during an abuse situation of some kind.

So now I have a good idea of the age of that memory piece that is the audio memory of this song. Next is to locate the sights, smells, tastes, touch and emotional sensations that go along with that piece of memory and I will have the "whole picture" so to speak of whatever the situation that caused that whole memory to separate into different pieces according to the five senses and emotions.

When I know all that, that memory of the song will no longer replay in my head unconsciously when I get triggered into remembering that song. Im guessing the fact that holloween is coming or looking at the holloween decorations in a store is the trigger because when I looked around while the song was replaying in my head I was in the seasonal isle of a store and people were talking about masks for holloween and this matches with the words in the song I was hearing.

Thank you (((Pegasus))),(((Mlyn))),(((Myself)))

My T is telling me that I am unthawing...sounds really techincal huh..but thats the simple version of what he explained..told him felt like a Slushee...not an Ice Cube...

The singing, humming, really is curious, but goes along with the urge to play hop-scotch, and step on a crack break our mothers back, jacks, marbles, (clearies, boulders..catseyes)....like it all should still be now, today, the layering makes me dizzy..head hurt..the light goes on and off..and now melodies..tunes, verses, and body feelings..really in over our heads now..but excepting this as it is what it is..hope we don't loose our giddy-up go in the process though...but T says we are definitley processing..again images of Velvetta come in head...ahh Humor..thankful for that part...

Take care all...and thank you for listening to ramblings over and over again..about stuff..and supporting me(s) thru it..sigh..smile.....
