I am going to set up 2 of my 5 pc’s for my alters to see if I can talk to them, like a separate account for them to use and set up how they like,

I might be able to learn a bit more about them, for example the poem I posted in creative the other day was not mine it was my alter who wrote it, I found it full of typos saved to my desktop has a untitled document, I have folders adorning the screen and put everything away when I have finished typing so I know it wasn’t one of mine, I spell check and name all documents before I save them.

The worrying thing is the one that wrote it is the one that normally gets me out of trouble and to a safe place so I really think we need to communicate, something is not right or is upsetting him and I need to find out what it is.

I know we have been switching more often, I don’t know what the trigger is so I cant even start to try and stop it, so maybe by setting up my network so that they each have a pc to themselves will help me resolve this issue.

What do you think?, do you think it is a good or bad idea?

seperate pc's for my alters? Hi mellors,

We often used to make a private chat room and go inside it where the alters could talk. seperate pc's for my alters? seperate pc's for my alters?

Also we learned heaps from those posts we didn't remember making seperate pc's for my alters? seperate pc's for my alters?

If you get to read each others posts, in the end communication will happen, we really believe that. Reading each others posts can be the first step, it was for us, and now a whole bunch of us can talk and share memories, still not everyone seperate pc's for my alters? seperate pc's for my alters? seperate pc's for my alters?

We hope this helps, but we aren't sure we're being clear enough.

Yes, we think your idea could work, certainly worth a try, we had our alters emailing each other at one stage, better than no communication at all. seperate pc's for my alters? seperate pc's for my alters? You just need heaps of email addys, well you should only need two. seperate pc's for my alters? seperate pc's for my alters? seperate pc's for my alters? seperate pc's for my alters?

May all go well for you, PM anytime.

Why not first just set up separate file folders on your PC; it's not like your alters have different bodies that they need whole different PC's? You can even name the folder by each alter's name and maybe even put a "letter" in each to start the dialog? "Welcome" them and tell them what you've done and how much you'd like to hear from them and why? Tell them you're there to help so if they have any problems or questions to let you know?

i never thought of a welcome letter, thanks.

i can set up the multiple email accounts thats no problem, i have 4 accounts myself, but so has not to confuse anyone online, if we speak via email or on chat sites that are for that specific alter, we 3 will all have voices, that can only be good right?

Sounds good to us {{{{{mellors}}}}}
We thought there were only 2 of you, but then when we came here we thought there were only 3 of us, now we know we have nearly 20 of us, rofl, but 8 of them talk to each other now.
Co-consciousness has been great for us, but we still don't think we'll merge, just trying to work together for the common good seperate pc's for my alters?

Take care, and be careful not to trigger yourselves.

I think it's a great idea. Most anything that gets communication started is good.

maybe seperate pc s is good as it could be such a thing as creating a higher level of trust and openess.

one thing....don't be suprised if there are things that you are not allowed to see. It will all come as it should.

Take care.

Great idea. I hope it works for you.

for me it wouldn't work. None of my memory pieces contain information about computers because computers were not for public use when I was a child and the ones I had access to as an adult were at the local library or on college campus's. If this is the case for you then setting up the computers won't work and if it doesn't don't see it as a set back. see it as you now know a bit more about the memory pieces.

There are other ways for those who don't have alters with computer memories - I buy note books everytime shop ko has their 10 for a dollar sale. I leave them around the house where I find new things or things that have been moved and they get used.
