  [/image]bad  bad bad bad badI have to have a minor operation on Monday and Ann came out in the doctors office and it was so confusing and I didn't know where to go and I couldn't breath. Then I saw pdoc and that was confusing and he said "who am I talking to?" He never saw anybody and Ann doesn't think he likes her and she's sad and upset and it's been a rough day. And he increased all the meds and [image]   [/image]

It does get difficult when someone smaller doesn't understand. She is making good progress and she actually converses a little with me instead of shouting at me. Your kind words help her to understand that people do care, that they are not all like her family. Anne </font>

I'm so sorry things are so rough right now. It's so hard to keep everything/one inside calm when so many things trigger. I wish you the best with your surgery. You will be in my thoughts. Maybe making sure there are things that Ann likes to do (colors, a small stuffie, etc) close by so if there is a problem, she can do those? Sometimes I have found that if I have something in my hands, I am able to stay present even though it doesn't feel like it's my hands that are holding the stuffed animal etc. Best of luck to you. My T said the same thing tonight about making more time for the others so they won't feel like exploding at times. He said letting them do things and experience the good things in life will help them. Did you talk to my T? hehehe Anne
