inner landscape or rooms?

Do a lot of you have rooms or your alters/ people have rooms?
we've never had rooms of any kind, really. well, I guess we did finally create spaces the littles can go when i have to do something adult, like to Harry Potter's Hogwarts or My Little Pony Paradise Valley... but it really only works until we get to the adult thing and then they're back and go into full swap out.
What is it like for others?

Decades ago I have what I precieved as mail slots where memories were kept. I had someone who would go and get them when needed but no rooms. About 20 years ago I had an auto accident and all the mail slots were broken and I ended up with what I called a junk draw. That was all my memories in one draw which made it difficult for me to find them and sometimes caused problems. Sense I was diagnosed as DID I realize that some of my parts are on one side of my head and some are on the other. Also I used to dream about a house where we all lived and came and went as we wished. We didn't all get along, some were even scary but we would come and go from this home in my dream. Sense I was diagnosed with DID my last dream of the house was different. The rules had changed, the house looked run down inside and not everyone was there anymore. It was the house but not how it used to be. I don't think I have dreamed of the house for a few years. Maybe we all lived in that house that only existed in dreams.
