This is my new form of dissociation - no longer so much mind fog, but like the whole world is turning. Especially right now. This is a time of year where a lot of abuse went down when I was 11. it is hitting hard today. I am focusing on sailing through it and staying out of the past, but at times it comes rearing up and pushes on my eyes.
and then there's the "mind going blank"- which just happened. so i guess i'm done with this post...

It is amazing how many different ways anxiety can manifest itself. There was a period of time, years ago, when my anxiety level was such, it caused my eyes to involuntarily jump up-&-down. So, of course, everything I was looking at fluttered the whole time it was happening.

I remember, one time, being at the Guthrie Theater to see a play. We were sitting in our seats waiting for the play to begin. I was looking down on the stage & it was jumping up-&-down like a Mexican jumping bean!

Warm wishes to you, Kiya...

oh my how scary the world turning /spinning suddenly , and this is a new symptom? if this happened to me I would be calling my treatment providers. dissociation doest usually show itself in physical symptoms like the world spinning/turning. usually this kind of symptom is associated with things like vitamin deficiency like anemia, ear infections, vertigo, medication side effects, Even something as simple as not getting enough to sleep or over eating/under eating/ over hydrating/under hydrating can cause a person/me to feel dizzy/faint/like the world is spinning. given that here in america yesterday was thanksgiving and I didnt exactly eat the right combinations and amounts of foods that was right for me I too dont feel physically fit and a bit dizzy/like the world is moving/spinning. but I know by tomorrow things will be back to normal for me, because Im back on all my treatment plans including dietary today.

the good thing is that if this is a physical or dissociative symptom there are meds for this that can help you feel more stable.

my suggestion maybe a call to your treatment providers to let them know of this new symptom so that they can assess where and why its suddenly happening and treat you for it so that you will feel better soon.

I changed to a different medication a while ago and for a couple of times my eyes crossed for a few seconds. It is creepy isn't it?

The mental blanks tell me that I am doing too much whether it be physically or emotionally. Make sure that you are drinking enough so that your blood pressure isn't causing the dizziness.

Take Care.

Yes I do need to work on my water intake so I don't have another blood pressure drop and end up back in ER. Thank you for the reminder - it is one of my weekend goals. And with my stomach misbehaving, I now have to take in some electrolytes.
Dear body and mind, PLEASE BE WELL!
