Hi yall. Got to quit drinking. Mean Guy comes out after triggered and we beat (verbally) everyone up around me. Then I have to pick up the pieces. I'm not happy, we're not happy. We're disgusted. How do you kill an alter? All I can think of is shooting all of us.

Always, sorry to hear you are feeling angry. Please don't shoot anyone. It is not an alters fault. It is not your fault. It is the effects of the world that seduce us into drinking. For people who take meds that is usually a lot of trouble and side affects.
What about talking with your therapist about this?

He's screwed everybody up. I hear he showed up 2 months ago, around about the time I acknowledged that there is more to me than what meets the eye.
I keep being told I change like a switch on/off. That I've never been like this before. I don't like him, nobody does. There is only one solution to fix him, and I'm prepared to do that. |

Do you have a therapist you can call if not I think it might be good if you went to the hospital emergency room before you harm yourself. Your life is not over it is just stuck. Stuck in trauma time. As you learn more about yourself and your alters you will better understand how to work with them. How to move past trauma time Self harm does not make things better. Getting help to deal with difficult situations does.

i think that's a good quote. "your life is not over it's just stuck in trauma time" so many people (no matter what illness), need to be reminded of that |
