plus i dont have money to travel back and forth to college. it is an hour form my house. plus my car is having problems. i can't borrow the money because i dont know anyone with money to borrow. im so stressed with this i dont know what to do. i am also tired alot.

Perhaps you could leave a journal around where each of your alters could write down their thoughts and feelings? Either way i wish you happiness.

I have alot of alters too. But my therapist tells me not to worry about how many there are. She said nothing has changed. They have always been there. The only difference is that I now know that I have DID and that they are there. She said Im not doing anything more then what I have been doing before I knew about my diagnosis. She also told me that they are there to protect me not the other way around. They were created because I could not handle the abuse that I went through as a child so they are my memories and stuff from that. So I don't bother wasting time on how many and how to control them. Instead I focus on what I need to do t learn how to take care of me. She said learning that will ultimately take care of all my alters too.
