My therapist has said why dont u call up a name alter first then talk. Well if u wasnt so absent minded when I said several sessions ago it doesnt work like that most of the time.. Sometimes it is a key word not that their isnt a name, it just that full trust isnt there. I called here name later on then it doesnt front. What gives in a situation like this? She has already hurt my feelings. I really want to stop my therapist in if she talks an 8 word sentences and tell her why 5 of those words has to do with memories. I hate absent minded therapist....im goin to ask for recorded sessions.

Worst thing is I couldnt catch it in the moment....After Therapy reporting

Keep trying to tell her how it works for you. Don't give up. Tell her, write it, leave her a voice mail. Sometimes I think it is hard for the therapist to understand us and if they don't live it, it doesn't come as second nature?

I'm sorry, that sounds like it can be so frustrating. How do the others feel about her? In our system, we can ask an other if they want out, but triggers are how we switch.

Just thinking about how it must be like feels so anti helpful. Is there any way to trade her in for one that remembers?

Good luck, I don't know what I'm saying, but hope you better.
