I know this is a dissociative forum, but I am most comfortable here. I wanted everyone who supports me to know that I am not ignoring all of you, it's just that lots of things are happening that are preventing me from functioning as I would like.
Bad things have been happening to my brother in Iraq and he's been calling me for support, which I gladly give. I can't get into details. It is all consuming - and then we are dealing with lots of issues of abandonment right now. So so so much to deal with, along with job, house, kids, flower garden. I don't wish any of those things away, but I want to do my best for each and feel like I'm failing. That doesn't help either. It's just all so much. Please pray for my brother. Iraq is not as "successful" as the news likes to spread. Hugs, SBD

(((songbird)))) I have a son in Iraq, and also a brother. War does take it's toll. Do your best, remain consistent. I'm sorry your brother feels his efforts aren't doing good. Try to give him the good from here... the war isn't over here still, Iraqi people are "free" and fewer of them are dying now than under Sadam... it's tough I know.

Sky ((Sky)) I will also keep your son and brother in my prayers. It's hard to see the good when the person that you love is hurting so much. How much more death can one person take?? Thank you for the advice. I do try and stay strong and consistent for him. He's a well decorated veteran but something just got to him.

I just wanted everyone to know that there has been no news. I do know that my brother was moved to Camp Liberty which is in the Green Zone and much safer, for now.

Fluffy White Bear Sister Wants Thank you for your kind wishes. I feel like a street cop in the middle of a very busy clover leaf highway. Now I know where the phrase "when it rains it pours" comes from. But I still have my health, a roof over my head, happy and safe children and all my friends here. Everything seems to be revolving around abandonment and rejection lately. SIGH ~ sometimes it's just all so so so so much. Hugs, SBD
