Some of these are like a trance to me. If I don't completely lose touch and go on autopilot, then I drift between normal and totally out of it. Vision slows down and has a delay, depth perception is all screwy. Hearing goes away slightly, and comprehending things said around me is difficult, and if I try to talk it's all broken sentences and lost trains of thought with blank stares mixed in if I respond at all.

It's actually easier on me to just pop into lala land and not know it till I wake back to reality and find myself doing some activity. Hanging out half way in between really sucks. Everything is up for grabs, and reality is just a word in a dictionary.

We go into what I would call a 'dissociative trance' quite often, frequently in therapy. Our system has rules about what can and can't be disclosed and when these are threatened we kinda shut down... can get neither in nor out, but just stare blankly, stuck. It feels like a heavy, blanket of fog.
Its loads of fun.

Blank stare, vision goes tunnel, hearing slightly turned down, comprehension is more confused, and ability to move is in head, not physically able to move. As last session T asked to take her hand, couldn't as I told her my hand is extended out to take yours but she said it wasn't.i said i see it in my head.
