this time of year just reminds me how lonely i am
 why does everyone else meet someone special and i cant meet anyone? i feel not loved... me just need some one to love  never had someone to love before... that love me back... i fell in love once.... it hurt... now im scared to love again, maybe that why i dont find someone to love me...   i hate new years... now i have to get used to it being 2017... still never got used to it being 2016... why another year pass and im more broken than ever? makes me so sad... life hurts... i want this new year to be special... want to make my life change, lots of good changes please... |

this time of year just reminds me how little i've done with my life, and how much i've missed out on I just hate the whole thing plus, another downside to new years, they do fireworks outside ugg. it's enough having them on november 5th a little known fact: both christmas eve and new year's eve fall on a saturday how cool, I guess? |

I ignore the 'new year' and attach no significance to it. Time and the passing of it is a meaningless artificial construct in my mind. I don't care for birthdays, new years, or traditional celebrations of any kind. I begrudgingly put my body forward to participate in required social rituals. But there is no 'I' in there.
And *I* am much happier for it. |

i've always asked myself this:
we don't celebrate the end of every month (or the start of the next one) we don't say... tomorrow it's march 1st celebrations so what is so special about celebrating the new year it's like just celebrating the start of a new month january see our logic? |

im the same way, it jus makes me feel sad because everyon around me is like... its 2017!!! new year, new stuff, new ways, new thoughts, new!!
and im like, its more of the same, nothing changes, its not a nother day, its the same day! and its been the same day for 27 years |

Any yearly event is just a reminder as to how short life is....especially when you can't remember much or any of it. Literally in our world....time flies.
I'm sure you'll find one real understanding like.
