When you see professionals, are you claiming you have a dissociative disorder or specifically DID?

Also, you have not studied psychiatry ot psychology, right?Reading books doesn't qualify anyone to make a diagnosis.

Legally, of course, you are correct.

Understood, and I'd wager a guess that your results are consistent with the overwhelming majority of folks who self-diagnose. Such was not the case with me. I was spot on while professional after professional misdiagnosed me, very rarely settling on the same dx. Perhaps someone like Michael can qualify himself (at least from a psychological perspective if not a legal one) simply by reading.

I mean, if I made a living breaking and entering, I got into physical alterations weekly, lied constantly and have no remorse for any harm I've caused others - it doesn't take a pro to know that I'm antisocial. Yes, AL, I know there are other criteria in your location...I'm editing for brevity.

Ah...I see what you are saying yagr and have to agree with you on that.

Also,I was unaware that Michael has already received a diagnosis before(which I realized in a different thread), which nullifies the things I have said because it's not even about self diagnosis as I presumed.

I could have a blankey-blank wart on my hand and most mental health professionals would argue that it was a mole.
