Hi all.
I have opened up a private chat room for us. I will keep it open this evening and reopen it again tomorrow sometime. Anyone that wished to can drop in and chat. if it is empty you can keep it open in a tab in the off chance that someone else might drop by. You will need a password to get into this room, so if you would like to enter it just send me a pm.

Bah. My laptop won't load the forum for some reason, and I can't use the chat room on my phone, so it might be a no go sorry.

I can't figure out why the chat room won't load on my pc or ipad but will on my phone. Everything else loads fine. What's up with that?

Idk..I've never been able to figure the chat thing out...and even when I try it is too fast too much going on triggering.

I don't know how to do it on the phone, TR. I didn't even try on my phone... it is too small and too confusing for me from there. But you could try.
It is loading on my laptop again now, so I've opened the room back up. If you go to the drop down menu on the 'chat' tab click on the room 'DD'. If you don't see that one click on lobby and then go to the DD room from there. Message me if you need the password. |

Lost, it shouldn't be too fast with only a couple of people in there. But if you come in make sure you keep track of feeling triggered and leave or back away for a bit if you need to.

I found the chat option on the home page but it's someone wanting to give out her phone number.

On my phone I stay on the forum page. About fourth? along the top bar on the page it says 'chat'. Hover above it and it opens a drop down menu. Click on lobby (DD if it shows up) and then you will go to the flashchat page. I think? you just enter your psych forum name and password in there. Does anyone else know how to help TR?
Can anyone tell me if you can actually see the room in the dropdown menu? I can't. But when I enter through the lobby and then choose to go to another room it is there. |

No, not tapatalk. It doesn't need an app. You just open the chat on the psychforum site. That's what I do, anyway? I've never had to pay anything.
Click on the chat tab on the psychforum site... it may prompt you to sign in, but think all you do is use your forum sign in. And then it should open straight away, There shouldn't be any woman wanting a phone number and no payment is required! |

I'm sorry that it doesn't work. I'm either on my ipad ir iphone seeing the kid threw a pen at my laptop and shattered the screen.
Besides....I can't chat...it triggers us to dissociate- any type of social interaction with fellow humans. Our mind goes blank, daze,.... Writing in posts is about all we can do. We've been accused of not being able to ******** (which is true). We are so lacking. This has screwed up our social life. Being drunk helps a little bit.
