I want to buy us a present, but just don't know what to get. I just get a blah feeling and a blank.

It's like a waste of money.

Like we bought ourselves a bicycle with the helmet, lock, mirror, because an Other just got to have it. We rode it once. The fems want to wear something they like and the guys get nervy about it.....so we then don't.

We always have mixed feelings about everything. Before The Awakening....we/I always had the hardest time making my mind up, I still do but at least as to the why it's now clear.

Often times our feelings on a subject are opposite, so when we switch it looks like we changed our mind to a bystander. A time or 2 we changed our minds on things 5-6 times in succession which is noticed by other people and causes embarrassment to rise on our behalf.

I always chalked it up to mixed feelings because I feel a diverse range of emotions and feelings at once. Yes, no, maybe, Idk, NO!, hell yes,......over every decision, choice, instance, and thing. I always chalked it up to indecision...but it's an inner struggle to make a decision because of Others.

Often time we have to go with impulse decision calling outloud, the last one voiced wins before we are stressed out because people are watching. We don't make good decisions this lottery kind of way and it goes bad for us sometimes.

The only thing that we majorily can agree on is beer- and a Powerball ticket. My table is littered with Powerball tickets I yet to check. I'm sure it's not the big payday, but hopefully to get my money back!

This year some of us (mostly one of us) bought little presents for some others. I think it is that what made it meaningful for us. They were gifts chosen and given for another part of self. To give to a part of self, rather than for self. Ifyouknowwhaddeyemean.
So... this one bought some aromatherapy oil for another. The one who bought it does not like aromatherapy and does not believe that it can do what is claimed. But the one she bought it for does. And it was received with thanks.
One bought some awesome putty stuff (crazy Aarons thinking putty) for another, because she knew the other would love it.
They were all little gifts, but meaningful gifts, given with thought and love for the others. I think it is that which makes them special for us.

We find big presents not very satisfying because they usually suit some but not others. Little more personal gifts tend to help us feel more connected, more accepting and more supportive of one another. Some other gifts we gave each others are - a chrystal, a coffee mug, a ring, one girly kid part (overall we are not very girly!) got nail polish, little stuff like that.

You know....we have just gave away most of our possessions. There is no desire to be bogged down with material things. We took 2 loads of stuff to Goodwill and filled up one of those Habitat for Humanity donation box.

We don't need no stinking present.
