I needed a break from some tough emotional (for me) posts and so:

My little's current favorite book is entitled, 'Dogzilla'. We'll read it together at least once a week and often many days in a row. The other day we were watching an episode of The Flash - a television series we found in a second hand store for $2 and not having television service but having a TV and a DVD player, it seemed like a bargain. We don't much love the series but it is okay and often watching an episode is a good way to decompress.

So we were watching an episode the other day and two police officers were sent to a location where a rabid dog was called in. They heard growling down an alley and proceeded in the direction it came from. The 'dog' got up on his hind legs and howled, its silhouette clearly visible on the wall. One officer said, "That's not a dog; that's dogzilla!" My little came forward so fast that she about knocked me to the ground getting to the front. Later that night while I was trying to go to sleep, she started giggling uncontrollably. "What so funny?" I asked. She replied, "You got switch-slapped!" Awesome phrase in my opinion...never heard it before.

So, any stories of yourself being switch-slapped?

ROFL, that made me laugh out loud!
I can't think of any examples at the moment... but no doubt one will pop into my head later on.

P.S. I do believe that is a phrase worth adopting!
