Hi everyone
![]() Don't really want to go on about my story and experiences right now but I'm trying to find proper therapy/support for severe dissociation, that, with panic disorder and other anxiety problems has kept me pretty much housebound for ages. I work from home and am trying to find a way to find my sense of self again -- which, as you'll know, is very hard when you're so isolated --physically and mentally-- by dissociation. I still struggle to understand why there's so little understanding and help for what can be such a crippling condition. Best wishes Theredthread |

I hope that you succeed in finding the help you need. The info for DD is coming around slowly but surely....nothing like the other mental illnesses like bipolar and such. Maybe because there are still pdocs that are still skeptics and deniers....who needs them....I know we don't. Have you tried meditation? Tranquilizers for the anxiety? Are you seeing a pdoc? I wish I can help, but here I sit in the USA. Please good luck and keep us posted. ![]() |
